SSE Social Partners 

The School for Social Entrepreneurs (SSE) is inviting individuals and organisations to become Social Partners, joining an ambitious programme that brings businesses together with Fellows of SSE to become a movement for change. We are seeking to attract a diverse range of individuals and businesses who have an interest in supporting our social entrepreneurs by donating time and financial investment to help them grow personally and professionally through mentoring and project funding. By becoming a Social Partner, you will benefit from unique opportunities for learning and wider access to SSE’s thriving community of Fellows. 

What is the Social Partners Programme? 

The Social Partners Programme, launched in 2019, is aimed at those keen to use their experience outside of their current business environment. A wide-lens introduction to the social enterprise sector, this programme offers those from a business background the opportunity to collaborate with our network of inspiring social entrepreneurs working across key themes including social justice, inequality, health, education, environment, and climate.

Our Fellows 

Our Fellows are the social entrepreneurs and leaders who have graduated from our long-duration programmes, ready to create innovative solutions to pressing social issues. 

That’s why our Fellows are a key component of our strategy, enabling us to better: 

• mobilise entrepreneurs within our communities to achieve social and economic renewal 
• invest in social innovators to tackle systemic challenges in society 
• harness our community insights to influence policy and practice 

SSE Fellows are already creating solutions to society’s most pressing problems. Tackling these challenges will require a collective effort between business, government, the third sector and our wider communities. SSE Social Partners are a community that understands SSE’s approach and are committed to strengthening our Fellows’ work. They support our aim of creating lasting social and environmental change, and bringing about a fairer, more resilient society. 

 As a Social Partner you will have opportunities to work with a diverse range of inspiring social entrepreneurs and make a genuine difference to what they achieve. SSE believes in championing collaboration, igniting entrepreneurial ideas, and equipping people with the skills to develop the solutions that will create a fairer, more equal society.
