SSE North West Social Entrepreneurs Win Awards

The Growth Award and the Start Up Social Enterprise of the Year Award were the two awards won by SSE North West Social Entrepreneurs at the Wirral Third Sector Business Awards on 12th June 2015.
Helen Oliver won the Growth Award for her social enterprise Happy Times Activity. She was also shortlisted for the Social Entrepreneur of the Year Award. Helen graduated from the Lloyds Bank Social Enterprise Liverpool Start Up support programme in 2014.
Creative Roots CIC, set up by Mike Cunningham, a current student on the Lloyds Bank Social Entrepreneurs Liverpool Start Up programme, along with his business partner Simon Ralph, won the Start Up Social Enterprise of the Year Award.
The Wirral Third Sector Business Awards, organised by Wirral CVS is an innovative new awards ceremony for the Wirral third sector. The awards are developed to celebrate the achievements of local charities, social enterprises and community organisations within the Wirral region.
